Dear Kansas City Women Golfers

On Saturday, June 27^th and Sunday, June 28^th, the Kansas City Golf Association will be conducting the 2^nd Kansas City Women’s Amateur at the historic Swope Memorial Golf Course.

This two-day “city championship” has been established to provide an opportunity for all women golfers who want to play in a golf tournament and experience the feeling of being “inside the ropes.”

You may already play in a number of social and team events and may feel that is already “enough” golf.  However, these kinds of events, while fun and enjoyable, does not identify the top female players in the city by age and skill levels. 

To fulfill this competitive void, the Kansas City Golf Association is asking you to help grow women’s competitive golf in two ways.  Women’s golf in Kansas City needs you.  And you can help by not only strongly considering playing in this championship yourself but also by encouraging other women to play. 

You can help women’s golf by spreading the word of the KC Women’s Am.  All the necessary details for the players are on-line at www.kansascitygolfer.org under “Competitions”, “Apply to Play”, “KC Women’s Am”. 

If we want women’s golf to grow and I know you do, we all need to participate.  Please spread the word and please sign up to play in this exciting championship.
