| US Open Sectional Field Announced for KC |

20 players will be playing at Milburn Golf & Country Club on June 8 to earn a place in the field at the U.S. Open at Bethpage. The 36-hole sectional qualifier is open to the public at no charge. Heading the list of local players who made it to the sectionals is Sean Dougherty of Overland Park. Other regional players include Chris Thompson of Lawrence and Mark Elliott of Topeka.
